The best place for working collaboratively on the records >from these
towns is at Geni.com, where we have already started several projects to
assemble the trees of all of the families in a particular town. The
interconnected trees can later be downloaded >from Geni and added to
FTJP at JewishGen. See, for example,

The key is to start your tree on Geni. You will have to make the
profiles public or else invite people to your family group in order to
collaborate. Start up a project and invite other researchers to join
the project as collaborators. Slowly but surely, as you go through the
records and add people to the tree, you will find that you have
connected all of the families in a particular town.
