To answer Daniel Weinberger question why parents/children
matching/nonmatching relationships, below is a simple answer:
Half of everyone DNA came >from each of their parent. When one pass their
DNA to each of their children, only half of their is pass. Therefore
there is only 1/4 chance that a matching segment of DNA between two
people, that segment is not pass on to both matching people's child.
However the two children could match each other on other segments of DNA
from their non-matching parents.
