I was at my local LDS today to look up these films504818 and 498,803 on WW1 military records rather the draft cards-but they did not have them. They are in Utah. Will there be anyone going up there soon? I'm searching for my gfil,Chaim(Hyman)Hoffman b in 1873 in Russia or Belarus-came to NYC btw 1899-1906. On my fil manifest, it stated amongst other things-his address 26 Canal(Manhattan County)which turned out to be wrong I am having problems having anything on him. I am thinking of the draft card or police census(1905)so that I can get his address and perhaps arrival info.
