Just like Lazer is a nickname for Eliezer, Lazel could be for Uzziel.
Leviticus chapter 10 / 4:
"And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle
of Aaron, and said to them, Come near, carry your brothers >from before
the sanctuary out of the camp."

It also remind of ancient Greek names, but I wouldn't want to add to
the confusion.
