Dear JewishGenners,

The BelarusSIG Online Newsletter is pleased to announce the publication of
four new articles. Two are by Vitaly Charny, adding to his series of
articles about famous Belarusian Jews, and two are based on presentations at
the Toronto conference by Dr. Oleg Perzashkevich, head of the Minsk
Historical Genealogy Group.

One of the famous Belarusian Jews is Boris Shaposhnik, Soviet
engineer-extraordinaire, whose designs included the truck chassis >from which
Iraq launched SKUD missiles at Israel during the 1991 Gulf war. To read more
about his remarkable career, go to:

school, among whose disciples was Marc Chagall. To read more about Pen, go

Dr. Perzashevich's contributions are full of valuable information on primary

postings in the near future. So, keep looking at the online newsletter.

Finally, feel free to e-mail me with your own possibilities for future
