Belarus SIG #Belarus Mogilev Rccords Update #belarus
David M. Fox <davefox73@...>
The 1875 birth register and the 1876,1877, and 1878 death registers for
Mogilev (city) have been translated. There are 2,280 records. This data is NOT available on the SIG website yet, since it needs to be reviewed (QC). While some Mogilev researchers have donated enough money to pay for these translated records, we need Mogilev researchers to continue to donate funds to the Mogilev vital records project on http://www.jewishgen.org/JewishGen-erosity/belarus.html so we can continue to translate more Mogilev records which are ready to send to the translator. Some of the records were not fully legible, either because of the quality of the original record that was microfilmed or because of the quality of the microfilm. I will announce on this discussion group as soon as the records are available on the web.
