At the web site http://www.centropa.org, Jewish Witness to a European Century,
I have found a bio and photos with essays about a man named
Grigoriy SIROTTA.

His parents: David and Sarah SIROTTA.
His wife: Sophia.
He grew up in: Shcherbakovtsy and "Zemikhovo" (Zhamekov?) and attended 5th
grade up in Nova Ushitsa, all in Ukraine.
Two siblings were Etl and Yasha.
WWII: He spent time in Belarus and with a Jewish family in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Does anyone know Grigoriy SIROTTA's family? I believe they may be related to my
paternal grandmother, about whom we know almost nothing but her SIROTA maiden
name and her home in Zhamekov.

If you can help, I would be grateful to hear >from you.

Please reply privately to e-address below. Many thanks.
