A search on the JewishGen Belarus database for a particular surname led
me to two curious entries on an 1811 revision list in Minsk.
The two entries are 16 and 15 year old boys, both listed as "head" and
both had been been "newborn" in the previous revision lists. The fathers
of the two young men are Mendel and Movsha, who may or may not be the
same person. Since the fathers were likely alive at the previous revision
list, shouldn't there be a reference to them here, even indicating that
they had died in the meantime?
