The Belarus SIG has recently acquired the translation of family lists >from
1894 for the towns of Ulla and Chashniki in the Lepel District and needs to
raise approximately $1000 to finish paying for the translations. There are
1271 records >from Ulla with 124 different surnames and 2502 records >from
Chashniki with 217 different surnames

The records contain the names of all members in the household their ages
and relationships to the head of the household. These records are of
great value to researchers with connections to Ulla and Chashniki but also
to other regions in Belarus because many of the families moved to other
communities and these moves have been noted in the records.
