Hello,
Has anyone heard of the Mogilev Gubernia Relief Society or Fund. My
grandmother, Annie FREEDMAN (nee COHEN), received an official commendation >from
the Society probably at the turn of the 20th century. The Society existed
in London and I presume was established to help refugees coming to London.
The secretary of the Society was A. Spitalsky. It had its registered
office in Hanbury Street, East London. I believe it was wound up in about 1930.
