Hi everybody,

According to our plans for the Cemetery photographing and indexing projects,
we had to go this year to Jewish cemetery of Reni, Odessa oblast, formerly
in Bessarabia.  The town is located on Danube river, in a corner of Ukraine,
Moldova and Romania. 

But I got information today that on September 1,  there was fire at the
cemetery, and as it says in the article,  the Jewish cemetery burned.  It is
not clear how much damage was to the tombstones.  Here is an article in
