We have a Business Directories translation project which was started couple
of years ago, and not moving much.
I looked into some directories today and found terrific information for us.

where Jews were not majority of population. Our ancestors owned Drug Stores
and Groceries, Textile stores and Bread and Grain productions, mills, etc.

ancestors? In some cases in towns it even tells where that business was. I
was very much interested to find out about several of my relatives in a few
towns who had businesses >from pretty small to a large one.
We need a group of people who can read printed Russian to translate a
portion of the directories. If you are interested in a particular town,
village - you will receive an assignment for a district with that
