I'm sure this finds you in some way or another, getting yourself
ready for the Pesach/Passover holiday. And speaking of Pesach,
although the Yizkor Book Project hasn't hidden an "affikoman" for
you to find, we do have some token gifts to present to you which
were supplied by some very wonderful people over this past month.

- The first "gift" is for those of you with family roots in
Yugoslavia. Judy Petersen has prepared an index of all the names
appearing in the Pinkas Hakehillot (Encyclopedia of the Jewish
Diaspora) for Yugoslavia and I'm sure you'll find list as an
excellent research tool. - The second "gift" is a complete online
book in pdf format - "War Criminal on Trial" by which was written
by Sol Littman. For those of you interested in purchasing a hard
copy of the same, please go to the Yizkor Books in Print link at
the end of this message to obtain more details. - The third "gift"
is a complete translation into English of the Hebrew articles in
the Eisiskes, Lithuania Yizkor book and for this we have to thank
Kenneth Juris for this donation and Judy Baston for her editing
and initiative.
- The fourth "gift" is the Nowy Zmigrod Yizkor book which was
compiled by William Leibner and is now completely online.
- The fifth "gifts" are >from Susan Dressler, Genia Hollander &
Helen Rosenstein Wolf who have been tirelessly typing up English
sections >from various Yizkor books, this past month and for many
months previous, allowing us to place these articles online for
the benefit of all. - The last (or are they?) "gifts" are further
translations into Hebrew of the Yiddish sections >from three
Ukrainian Yizkor books prepared by Esther Weinschelbaum, so that
there are now eight of these Yiddish-to-Hebrew translations >from
Ukrainian Yizkor books now made available online.

Other than that, all the additions to the Yizkor Book Project,
great or small, continue on each day of the year and to all of
those involved in the YB Project and to you dear reader, I would
like to wish all a very memorable, warm and gastronomically
excellent seder and a wonderful Pesach holiday, in general.
