My husband recently received his results for a YDNA test and was
designated the O (M175) haplogroup. >from the little I know of this
haplogroup, it seems to be found mostly in Asia. This seems unusual
for an Ashkenazi (yes?). My husband's family is primarily from
Lithuania and Latvia. Does anyone have any insight as to why this
may have happened? Could the Khazars perhaps be part of that
lineage? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
