There are birth certificates, available on microfilm, at the Archives de la
Seine, at 75 - SEINE / PARIS 18, Bd Sérurier, 75019 Paris, tel.
011-331-.53.72.41.23, at the northeast corner of Paris. You will need to
consult them yourself, or send a researcher. They are not available over the
internet. You will have to scan the films over the date range you estimate
unless you have an exact birth date. You may have to get an ID card, which
would require a passport type picture, so go prepared with one. There are
also wedding and death certificates. Normally a fair amount of information
is included, and sometimes even the witness list is of interest.

It may be that the records are too late to be there (see the website), in
which case they will be at the Mairie (little city hall) for the
appropriate arrondissement. In that case, thay may do a search based on a
mailed request.
