Hello GerSig,
I just joined the group. I have been doing genealogy research for about 10
years. I consider myself to be a "technical novice" in doing German Jewish
Genealogy research. I live in suburban California, USA .
My native language is German and I also know French and obviously English.
I consider myself expert in using a computer. My experience in using the
Internet is extensive.
I have identified the names and birth and death dates of 2 of my
grandparents, 2 of my great grandparents and 2 of my great great grandparents.
My primary research goals now are to find out whatever I can about the fate
of my extended family who lived in the villages around present-day Bydgoszcz.
I will be traveling in the area in the spring of 2006 and would very much
like to make contact with an English-speaking person >from the area.
The family names and towns that I am researching are:
CAMNITZER - Zempelburg (Sepolno Krajenskie), Schwenkatao, Suchau (Sucha)
NEUMANN - Suchau (Sucha)
I welcome input >from anyone with a connection to the above. Best Regards,
John Buckel - _jjbuckel@aol.com_ (mailto:jjbuckel@aol.com) Cupertino, California
