It now turns out that Hans JAFFE was born as Hans L. COHN on
14-05-1915 in Frankfurt.

Later in life he took his mother's name, JAFFE

Hans JAFFE's great-grandfather was Heinrich GRAETZ (1817-1891). He
died on 24 juli 1984, without children.

He is not the first to have adopted the JAFFE name and sent
researchers on goose chases!

Now I need to find out who his mother was. Any help would be appreciated.
