German SIG #Germany Matrikel from the Juedische Gemeinde Ilvesheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg #germany

Steven Leof <sleof.sln25@...>

As follow-up to my recent post, I am still looking for the Matrikel
(register of births, marriages and deaths) >from the Juedische Gemeinde
Ilvesheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg so that I can learn more about my NATHAN
ancestors. They lived in the village in the first half of the
nineteenth century; they may have been there earlier (I don't yet know).

Whilst chatting with Jeanette Rosenberg she made three suggestions: -

1. The Landesarchiv Baden-Wuerttemberg web site where the information
should be available for download. Judging >from the search result, the
information appears to be available at:
https://www2.landesarchiv-bw.de/ofs21/olf/struktur.php?bestandV32&klassi=nzeigeKlassi9
However I don't understand how to access it.
MOD NOTE: The link in the above paragraph did not work for me. Contact the
submitter directly for more information about this web page. MODERATOR

2. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Name Lists Catalog see
http://resources.ushmm.org/Holocaust-Names/List-Catalog/display/details.php?type=cat&id1957&ord
This ultimately leads back to the Landesarchiv web page above.

3. The book "Ilvesheim in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart" written by Karl
Kollnig and published in 1931 by Mannheim-Seckenheim Neckar-Bote.
According to www.worldcat.org there are copies only in libraries in
Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich. I don't have access to these libraries
and even so, I don't understand German.

In searching the catalog at www.familysearch.org, it would appear that
the Matrikel, 1810-1870 >from the Juedische Gemeinde Ilvesheim (A.
Mannheim) is available at LDS Family History Centers. According to
Jeanette the centre in London where I live is closed for the interim.

If anyone knows how to access the information I'm seeking or can do a
lookup, please let me know. Thank you.
