German SIG #Germany Book sale at CJH to benefit Leo Baeck Institute - Sunday April 15 #germany

The Leo Baeck Institute and its partners at the Center for Jewish
History will host a second-hand book sale on Sunday, April 15 >from 11
a.m. to 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Center, 15 W. 16th Street, New York City.

The sale will include duplicate copies and "out-of-scope" work from
the partners' collections. Included will be used books about Jewish
and general history, literature, art, biographies, religion and other
related topics. Authors include Sholem Aleichem, Isaac Bashevis
Singer, Itzik Manger, Chaim Grade and many others. All proceeds will
benefit each organization's book acquisition fund. In addition, the
participating partners- American Jewish Historical Society, American
Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute and YIVO Institute for Jewish
Research - will be selling discounted and regular publications from
their organizations.

Paperbacks will be on sale for $1, hardbacks for $3. 4 hardcover books
for $10. Cash only.

sponsor a guided tour and lecture at the Museum at Eldridge Street.
