I am researching two Jewish families living in Louisiana who had SONS
with the ** first ** name, Jasmin.
Both families were >from Germany and both of the men were born around
1870. I have not found any relationship between these two families.
One family may have come >from Mettenheim, Daarmstadt.
This is the first time I have encountered the ** first ** name, Jasmin used
for a male. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Was it a common name
for a male in Germany?
I am wondering if these two families were related. If the name, JASMIN,
is really unusual, does that make you think that perhaps they might have
