I have a second cousin once removed, who lives in Cali, Colombia.
She is married to Sigfredo TRANSLATEUR, b. 1951 in Cali. I have no idea of
his parents.

I have been curious for some time about the origin of his surname without
any solid evidence.

This got me on the hunt for other TRANSLATEUR names of which I have quite a
number originating either in Poland or Germany.
If anyone can help me fill in the gaps and possibly connect Sigfredo to
