Dear Gersigs,

I hope one of you could help. Kurt HEINZE was born 05.03.1886 in
Breslauf, he was murdered 13.03.1944 in Theresienstadt. During the
Nazi piriod he lived in Koeln and Duesseldorf. He was deported to
Theresienstadt 27.07.1942.

Has anyone informations about his family (parents, wife and children)?

Regards, Mike Redel, Unna- Germany

We are trying to locate the grave of Lisette (Jetta) GAERTNER, born CAHN
in Kassel or nearby. We have just found out by obtaining a copy of the
Melderegister that she died on 5 Novemeber 1908, just months after
moving to Kassel to be close to her daughter and family. It is possible
she is buried at the Bettenhausen Jewish Cemetery; I do not find any
listing of burials for this cemetery online that I can search.
The Stadtarchiv in Kassel did not find her listed in the deaths records
of Kassel for 1908. But she did live in Kassel at the time of death, as
did her daughter.
Does anyone have a resource that includes listings of the burials in the
Jewish Cemetery in Bettenhausen (Kassel) or other Jewish Cemeteries
close by? I was told she is not buried with her daughter and the family
of her husband the Liebergs of Kassel; they are buried at Wolfhagen.
I sent an email to a source suggested by the Archivist in Kassel; I
never received a reply.
Ww wish to visit Lisette GAERTNERs grave when we visit in a
couple of weeks. She is the 2x great grandmother of my husband.
Thank you for any suggestions.
