German SIG #Germany Reichsvereinigung Cards Update [1939-1941 Jewish residents in Germany] #germany

The next installment of the index to the Reichsvereinigung registration
cards is now available at:

This form of registration was required 1939-1941 for all Jews resident
in Germany. Unfortunately, less than half the cards have been located,
but those that were found can be examined on the Bad Arolsen website.

This alphabetical index with (so far) 26,537 names now has reached the name
Sommerich. Unlike the cards themselves, this index can be searched by
family or maiden name or by place of birth or death. If searching by place.
please use the German spelling, e.g. Köln or München, not Cologne or Munich.
The registration cards >from which this information was drawn are available
on the Bad Arolsen website and often contain additional information, such as
profession or other family members. In many cases I have supplemented the
card information, drawing >from other sources.

I would be happy to try to answer any questions regarding the cards and
information in the database, but please start by looking at the cards
