I'm a member of Gesher Galicia now widening the search for
members/descendants of the BARASCH family of Brody. Does anyone know who
Rabbi Shmuel was--the rabbi >from whom the anagram forming that name
"BARASCH", ben Rebbe Shmuel?
I am also interested in corresponding with anyone who has been to Brody.
My other interest is Staszow, the town in which my grandfather was born.
It's in Kielce province, 8 miles >from the city of Kielce.

The Polish Embassy is at 2640 16th St., NW. phone (202) 234-3800. Haven't
been there yet since I have just started a new job.
The Polish National Library is open all day and evening on Tuesday;
Thursday afternoons; and Saturday >from about 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
I plan to go one Tuesday evening.
