As far as I can make it out, the first record says "szmaciarz" which would mean 'second-hand clothing dealer' or 'rug handler'. The second record says "bez utrzymania" or 'no livelihood' which means that the person didn't have a job and wasn't able to make his living. Best regards, Grzegorz Gembala
