Gesher Galicia will be holding a regional meeting jointly sponsored by the
Jewish Genealogical Society of New York on Sunday, November 20th at the
Center for Jewish History in Manhattan.
In addition to the main program, beginning at 2:00PM with speakers Mark
Halpern (on JRI-Poland), Suzan Wynne (on Jewish Life in Galicia), Logan
Kleinwaks (on using OCR to search Galician/Polish directories) and Shelley
Pollero (on Allegro-Polish auction site), and a showing of two short films:
"The Jews of Poland-Lvov" shot in 1939, and "I Remember Jewish Drohobycz,"
an interview with David Einsiedler, we will be holding many
birds-of-a-feather meetings >from 12:00N - 2:00PM.

SUCHOSTAW REGION RESEARCH GROUP (SRRG) (Including towns: Skalat,
Grzymalowe. Trembowla, Zalesczczki, Kopyczynce, Zbaraz, Borsczow, Buczacz)
KOBUSZOWA REGION RESEARCH GROUP (KRRG) & RZESZOW (Including towns: Lancut,
Mielec, Nisko, Pisno Ropczyce, Stryzyzow, Tarnobrzeg)
DROHOBYCZ, BORISLAW, SAMBOR & STRYJ
BROZOW, SANOK, LESKO, KROSNO
For some regions and towns there will be special presentations on travel,
maps, books, Holocaust, archival and vital record research and cemetery
restoration updates, with opportunities to network and share information
with others. If you want to present a report on your town, or have
information for a handout specific to your region, please contact Eden
