For what it's worth: my great grandparents owned a tavern/inn in the
town of Tuchow, which my father remembers visiting as a child in the
1930s. They're listed in the 1929 Polish Business Directory, under
zejazdy/auberges(C.Frejdenfeld). My father doesn't know if they brewed
their own beer, but they definitely served it.
