In 1899, my grandmother, Rachel MAHLER, age 15, arrived in

Schermerhorn Streets.
Hello,

Before spending any time on this search. We would like to provide
more information. ED 27 is only for 1900. And it is the odd
numbers for this street between Hanson and Lafayette, on the
North side of Flatbush. The even numbers 82-86 were on the South
side of Flatbush, which was between State and Schermerhorn Streets.
We have already looked at Brooklyn EDs 23, 27, 28, 154 and 165,
but did not the even numbers for this block. The odd numbers do
not contain a family with a name similar to the immigrant or the
person they were visiting.

** Note that these particular images are clearer in
Ancestry. And that there were no entries in the
detained passenger lists. (unless we missed them)

Good Luck,
