Chris Nicola, the spelunker who discovered the Ukrainian caves where
Holocaust survivors hid for almost two years,will speak at the Dix
Hills Jewish Center's Yom HaShoah commemoration, Wednesday, April 15,
at 7:30 p.m.

Chris will be joined by Ilana Wexler, grandaughter of Sol Wexler, one
of the 38 Jews >from Korolowka and Bilcze Zlote who found refuge in the
caves.

The survivors' incredible story was the subject of the book "The Secret of
Priest's Grotto: A Holocaust Survival Story" and the documentary film "No
Place on Earth" (http://www.noplaceonearthfilm.com/).

Chris was Gesher Galicia's luncheon speaker at the 2010 IAJGS conference
in Los Angeles and has spoken at two GG regional meetings in New York.
