I am searching the KRANZ line >from Bohorodczany and HORNHOLZ line >from Stanislav.
I have explored the JRI-Poland and Gesher Galicia indexes.
My great grandmother was Gitel Kranz 1853-1935; her parents were Shmuel and Mariem Kranz.
On GG there is an 1820 property census record for Guttel Kranz and a 1790 property census record for Liwsza Kranc. How would I be able to see those originals?
We have a legend that we descend >from the Dubno Magid Rabbi Yaakov Kranz 1741-1804 but I haven't made the link yet.
On the Hornholz side my great grandfather was Abraham Hornholz 1854-1895. His father was Berish Leib Hornholz 1818-1866. On GG I found a Brody death record for Leib Hornholz d.Nov. 14 1817. I'm assuming that's his grandfather.
Abraham Hornholz and Gitel Kranz had 6 children:
Shmuel b.1877 Mariem b.1879 Baruch Leib b.1882 (my grandfather) Rubin David b.1885 Sara Rifke b.1888 Shaindel b.1891
