Winners of the 2018 National Jewish Book Awards, announced on
Wednesday, include two titles that may be of special interest to
_Anatomy of a Genocide: The Life and Death of a Town Called Buczacz_
by Omer Bartov, a Brown University professor whose mother was raised
in this eastern Galician town.
_Historical Atlas of Hasidism_ by Marcin Wodzinski, head of the
Department of Jewish Studies at the University of Wroclaw and from
2007 to 2014, the chief historian of the POLIN Museum in Warsaw.
