A woman named Diane has an incredibly useful site with many links, including
a large list of Hungarian genealogy terms translated into English; a sampler
to translate old Hungarian script into English letters; and lots more. I found
this site by searching another great one, put up by James Bogardi at a site
known as Radix, which is full of great links and data

Radix: http://www.bogardi.com/gen/g060.htm
Diane's links: http://geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/7347/tokaj2.html

If you are searching anywhere in the old Hungary of the Austro-Hungarian
empire you should see what these folks provide.
Happy 1999!
