Are you sure that Kochitzh isn't a transliteration of Kosice,
formerly Kassa, Hungary? There are also Kosicka and Kosicke, both
close to Kosice.

Just received information >from a relative in Israel telling us he was born
in Kochitzh (possibly Kochitek) Slovakia. We checked the Shtelseeker but
could not find this town.
