Dear Marc,
I am a subscriber to "The Spectator" and I can attest to the fact that
this article was, indeed, of pivotal significance. While it could be
disputed if our forum was the most appropriate forum for surfacing it, there
can be no question that as the webmaster, the H-Sig community particularly
owes you a lot, as well as a great deal of gratitude to Vivian Kahn for your
superb work over the years. (As for Vivian, she seems to be everywhere ....I
read about her virtually every other morning in the "San Francisco
Chronicle"-----to the point when a breakfast without her seems to be
incomplete...). I am sure that in the Big Book upstairs your "sin" will be
inscribed as a "virtuous deed." In fact, I'll go a step further: I am sure
that in place of a rebuke, you will be thanked by Louis Schonfield, as
