I have Pollak relatives in Budapest. They do not seem to be related to
yours. However, what is relevant is that the name
Pollak means >from Poland. One of my relatives "Hungarianised" it to
Lengyel, which means "Polish" in Hungarian.

Sandor Pollak may well have become Sandor Lengyel.
