I am seaking information on the town of: VILKA, which was once in
northeastern Hungary (Transcarpathia) , but is now either in Slovakia or
Ukraine.

The family associated with this town had the surname BRAUN (Samuel,
Miska/Max, Martin and Ettel/Ethel) and emigrated to the States in the early
1900s. Another town name mentioned is: SZAPINKA (sp?) which would have been
close to VILKA.
