Fateless, an epic adaptation of the contemporary
classic novel by Nobel Prize winner Imre Kert├ęsz,
and directed by Oscar-nominated cinematographer
Lajos Koltai, is set in 1944, as Hitler's Final
Solution became policy throughout Europe. Fateless
tells the semi-autobiographical tale of a 14
year-old Jewish boy >from Budapest, who finds himself
swept up by cataclysmic events beyond his
comprehension. Fateless opens at the Film Forum in
New York on January 6th.
