I was thrilled to read the July 20 post regarding the Budapest Archives and the possibility of searching the 1900 city directory at www.bparchiv.hu/cgi-bin/lakas/lakas.pl
But after going to the website and clicking on the UK flag I could not find the city directory. I typed in "city directory" with and without the year 1900; then tried using the hungarian word - which was something like "telefonoky" (sorry can't find my notes at the moment), but still no luck.
Would someone kindly explain the finer details for me as I'm anxious to try my surnames.
