The 1828 Trencsen census in Benyov & Urbanov (synagogue in Vag
Bestercze) 1828 Lajo(s) Vajder has the following note:

"Arendator Edmilli dominalis" which translates as Tenant of Lord
Edmil (?)

An Italian gentleman has kindly offered the translation shown. My
question is whether anyone knows if there was a Lord Edmil in the
village shown.
