Some of you may already be aware of this, but when I was at the Budapest Ci=
ty Archives yesterday, I discovered that hundreds of people (predominantly =
Jewish, by the names) who died during the war years (mainly 1944 and 1945) =
have their deaths recorded in the 1950 and 1951 death records of District V=
(regardless of where the death actually occurred).
Since District V is the center city district, this may represent some kind
of centralized process (?)
There may be records to be found under other years as well, but these are
the two I looked at yesterday.
