I am somewhat late with my respond, I was hindered because of my knee surgery.

The project to collect pictures of the Auschwitz tattoos are not so new.
In October 1995 some survivor in Switzerland decided to found an organization
"Kontaktstelle fuer Ueberlebende des Holocaust". A German artist heard >from our
2nd meeting and asked us if we would allow to take fotos of our tattoos. Some of
us were against the project, but may be about 15 were willing. The artist, Beata
Passow collected several others tattoos too. One of her exhibitions was held in
Dachau, probably in 1997 and an other was in October 13. 1999 - January 16. 2000
in "MAK Center for art and architecture" West Hollywood with the title "Numbers by
Beata Passow".

Four of her pictures taken in our meeting is also on the front and the last page of
the book written by Revital Ludewig-Kedmi, Miriam Victory Spiegel and Silvie Tyrangiel
"Das Trauma des Holocaust zwischen Psychologie und Geschichte".

In the püublication "Hefte von Auschwitz 20" there is a list with numbers of twins,
triplets and dwarfs, with their names and some dates and "Auschwitz Chronicle" from
Danuta Czech mentions the numbers distributed on a certain dates, in general
without any details. ITS / Arolsen documents contains also the camp numbers.
