I am trying to located two Schwartz families and there whereabouts.
Here is the following information I received >from a very helpful genner.
Herman Schwartz B. 1852 in Sarospatak, Hungary. Immigrated with his wife Hani B.1857 on Oct 22 1907. They had a son Ignatz and a daughter who residing at 100 Ave D NY.
In 1910 David Weinstein b. 1874 arrived to the US. His wife Alvina / Hermine b. 1876 daughter of Herman and Hani Schwartz arrived on Nov 2nd 1911 with their children Frida age 9, Erno age 7, Ananka age 4 and Olga at the age of 2.
In the 1910 census it lists:
Herman age 68 wife Annie 58 residing at 295-7th Street NY. Their children were Kalman age 19, Celia age 17 Joseph age 15 and their son in law David Weinstein age 37. Herman and Annie had additional 5 children not living with them, possible all married.
In the 1920 census it lists:
Herman age 79 arriving in 1903. residing at 65 108th Street. NY His children were Joseph 23, Celia 25.
David Weinstein age 46 wife Alvina 44 residing at 252 East 74th Street NY. Their children Freda 17, Aaron 15, Della 13, Olga 10 and Jacob 5.
Here is the 2nd Schwartz family that I am looking for possibly related to the first.
Samuel Schwartz b 1835 wife Regina b. 1844. The family immigrated in 1884. Their children Martin b. 1871, Alexander 1878, Anna b. 1880, Minnie b. 1881 J. b. 1884, Nathan b. 1887 NY, SSidney b. 1889 NY, Joseph b. 189? NY.
Martin married Regina their children Irene b. 1902, Sam b. 1903 and Elsie b. 1904.
Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.
