Hungary SIG #Hungary RE: Name Sise #hungary

It is quite likely that Sise is the Yiddish rendering of the German word
Suesse (meaning sweet), a quite common Jewish affectionate name, but =
usually
given to female persons.
"to:lcsik" (toelcsik) could be a Hungarian idiom meaning a filler or =
server
of distillates/booze (>from the Hungarian word kito:lteni - to fill out).

He was the son of Benjamin and Hany Greif.

I assume that Sise is a nickname.
