I am looking for the records of a New Jersey Burial Society by the name of Moses Montefiore of Hoboken, New Jersey.
The cemetary where my ggf is buried tell me that the Society is defunct. I assume that is possible but what about the Society records? I know the Society was active as early as the 1920s and as late as the 1940s -- beyond those dates earlier or later I don't know.
Maybe there is a Temple in Hoboken, NJ >from the period that it was associated with?
American Jewish Congress or alike?
Any thoughts would be most welcome. Thank to all of the people who have responded to my prior notes. This is system is great and the people respond with ideas are the best.
