My fiancee would like to verify her
Hebrew name; unfortunately, records are extremely scarce and we cannot
locate any documentation.

She recalls her name as being Mashi SHENGEL - is this a possible
Hebrew/Yiddish name for a girl?
Sounds as though she was probably Masha Sheindel, both being common Yiddish
names for girls.
