Just came across some pictures >from my father which had been missing for
awhile. In this group I found a picture postcard of the ship R.M.S,
Adriatic. On the reverse side is Abstract of Log, and indicating New York
to Southampton via Plymouth & Cherbourg, Voyage 25 East, March 31, 1909.
The card goes on to describe the weather conditions and remarks of the
Since I am under the belief that my grandparents and father came to the US
before 1909 and that they did not return to England, could anyone give me
some information on what this type of card could mean or would it just be
some sort of souvenir >from the Liner?
