Trying to trace a relative who was born in Slutsk, Belarus prior to 1864.
As a young anti-Czarist activist, he made an attempt on the life of the Czar
or Prime Minster of Russia and was executed.
An aunt told me that she read about him in a Russian book before her 1914
arrival in the U.S. She said he was a very early ardent revolutionary, and as
such, his picture hung in the Kremlin.
Any suggestions on tracing and comfirming this would be welcome.
