While doing research at the Skokie, Illinois Public Library, I learned about
a great online resource for researchers. The Skokie Public Library has put
on their website their newspaper index file & their obituary file. Go to:

www.skokie.lib.il.us

and click on "Special Services." Choose either the Newspaper Index or the
Obituary Index. These cover all Skokie papers (which also cover items for
Lincolnwood & Morton Grove) >from 1963 to present. Your search results will
give you the exact publication, date & page number, which then can be
requested >from the Skokie Library staff.
