Dear fellow Genners;
I just received a death certificate for a man with the same name as my
maternal grandfather. The problem is, the certificate does not say
anything about when, where, or to who he was born. (Died 1935, Wales.)
Does anyone know, is this standard for this time and place?
The only nice piece of information on the certificate, it says what he
died of. As a piece of genealogy information, it is worthless. Also,
I have to say "same name as", because the surrounding information is so
little, it is hard to tell if it is the right person, or mearly another
at the same time period with the same name.
Thanks to all,
David Edelman, San Francisco.
