I have found a lot of Silverbush's whose name here is Max. As a matter of fact it is the most common first name I have found. What would Max have been called in Galicia?
Another name I am interested in is Berisch. What would Berisch be called in America?
What about Yitzhak?
Is Chaim the same as Charles?
Is there a book or source on line that would cover this subject?
